Colonial Inn

Summary: Comfortable and friendly for price but breakfast NEEDS improvement. The good: Front desk staff are very professional and personable. Felt like you were talking to a actual person not some corporate brain washed "customer is always right" personality which I like. Room was dated but felt comfortable for price. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Pool looked very inviting but didn't have the time. The bad: Breakfast didn't have any syrup for waffles, coffee was empty, no second hot food option since it was empty. There were 4 groups of people waiting for more food for breakfast that we all paid for at 9:10 am.

Nice overnighter. Very comfortable beds. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

I absolutely love this hotel! Staff are amazing! Beds are super comfy! Great pool/hot tub area.. Best breakfast! Yes bathrooms are a bit dated and shower curtains may not be fully waterproof... but so what. Safe, clean, comfy and priced perfectly. It's always our go to when in Brandon.

This hotel was probably fabulous in the 80s. It’s still decent, though! It’s got everything you need and is decently clean. I would stay here again. The guy at the front desk was really nice. Our comforter had a small stain on it and the carpets and couch are definitely old, but it’s clean where it counts: sheets are fresh and shower was spotless. I think I kinda expected what it would be going into it and I think that’s the attitude you gotta have when it’s the cheapest hotel around. A couple of shady characters are about. I probably wouldn’t bring kids. But for us it was fine.

Great bang for my buck! Under 100$ a night. Good breakfast options and a clean room. Almost seemed too good to be true. The lady working the front desk was able to quickly fix a mistake I had made in the booking process as well. Pool was not open at the time. The rooms are a dated but that doesn't matter when the price is that low.

Very well taken care of here, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool and hot tub area. Very clean. Conveniently located within walking distance of the mall. We loved our stay over Christmas. Fridge and microwave really handy!

Awesome location, outdated and little under maintanced. They have a ton of storage stuff in the pool room. Tiny hot tub says for 4 people barely fit 2 bigger guys. Bathroom toilet and bathtub are tiny. Bathtub was more of a oversized shower pan. No ice machine on second floor and 1st floor missing all of its roof tile. Warm breakfast was just a bunch of boil eggs and cheap breakfast sausage, make your own waffle maker, bread. Not horrible for price and everything was very clean otherwise. Tons of local restaurants in walking distance, and beds and blankets very warm but they keep turning the heat off in our room while out for the day and come back to a cold room. You get what you pay for. Our tv did not work the first day, we noticed the cord hanging it self stretched across the room. After letting it sit on the TV stand not hanging on for dear life, it started to work again the second night. Also warning if you got a big truck parking lot is a little tight

Great motel highly recommend it was clean and room was comfortable we had a window you can see the pool which was a okay view. Did not try the pool so nothing to say there but the breakfast was nice we had waffles and sausages and there were some snack too and everything is close by like other stores which was convenient. The parking lot was bad because of ice ruts like me car got stuck so others had to help push but 10/10 recommend!
